Hossein Baqeri, head of the Iqbal Think Tank, said in an interview last night with Hum TV Pakistan that following the reported killing of Ali Larijani by the Zionist regime, the battlefield dynamics may change. He stated that Iran will no longer observe red lines in targeting U.S. logistical and intelligence interests in Persian Gulf countries, and a wave of suicide drones and ballistic missiles is on the way.

Death of Ali Larijani
Baqeri, citing his sources, said that Dr. Ali Larijani and his son were killed in recent attacks by the Zionist regime. He added that this has not yet been officially confirmed by Iranian authorities.

Intelligence breach or indiscriminate bombing?
In response to how Israeli forces obtained officials’ locations, he explained that Iranian leaders, unlike Netanyahu, do not hide in underground bunkers and instead hold daily meetings in office buildings in Tehran. When a building is targeted multiple times, the probability of a hit increases.

Fifth column and financial rewards
Baqeri referred to a reported $10 million reward by Israel for Larijani and said some internal actors (such as opposition groups) may have sold location data for money.

Smart replacement system
He argued that Iran’s governance system is structured so that when one figure is removed, another immediately replaces them, ensuring no disruption in military or political decision-making.

Normal conditions in the city
Baqeri highlighted the high morale of ordinary people and their resentment toward the United States and the Zionist regime, stating that despite 18 days of war, fuel stations, shops, and municipal services in Iran remain operational, and daily life has not collapsed.
