The head of the Iqbal Forum, in an appearance on Pakistan’s national political program, explained the strategic dimensions  recent conflicts and described this confrontation as more than a small war, but a fundamental step toward neutralizing the “Greater Israel” project. Mohammad Hossein Bagheri emphasized that Iran, by using advanced missiles such as “Sejjil” and relying on strategic patience, is not only standing against Trump’s war-driven policies but is also shaping a new order in which there will be no room for Zionist expansionism or US military bases in the region.

Field and Weapons Analysis

Shia–Sunni war narrative:
The United States and Israel, trapped in a quagmire of war, are attempting through various tricks and conspiracies to turn this conflict into a Shia–Sunni war. Islamic and Arab countries are urged to remain cautious of this plot.

Unveiling of “Sejjil”:
Following extensive US and Israeli attacks on Isfahan, Iran’s armed forces used the solid-fuel “Sejjil” missile, with a speed of Mach 13 and accuracy of under 50 meters, to strike Israel.

Trump’s retreat:
Contradictory statements by Trump regarding reopening the Strait of Hormuz and attacking Khark Island were highlighted as signs of retreat and inconsistency.

Defensive Strategy

Iran has not yet revealed all of its capabilities, and its current actions are purely reactive.

Khark Island Warning

Any attack on the Khark oil facilities would be equivalent to the destruction of all oil installations in the region.

Preconditions for Peace and Ceasefire

  1. Complete withdrawal of US military forces from Persian Gulf countries.
  2. Compensation for damages caused, or alternatively, equivalent damage inflicted on the opponent’s assets.
