Message from Mohammad Hossein Bagheri Director of the Iqbal forum
The aircraft carrying the Iranian delegation has not yet departed for Islamabad. Tehran’s message is clear: as long as a definitive ceasefire is not established in Lebanon and the aggressions of the Zionist regime do not come to an end, Iran’s seat in Islamabad will remain empty.
No to superficial agreements: What has been presented as a 15-day ceasefire between Iran and the United States may be nothing more than deception. Iran will not leave Lebanon alone in the battlefield. The killing of people in Lebanon after the announcement of the ceasefire showed that the United States continues to easily break its promises.
Failure of Trump’s project: The United States’ request for negotiations in Islamabad is an official admission of failure. Trump has failed in all his objectives (from regime change and the destruction of nuclear facilities to control over oil and the Strait of Hormuz).
Finger on the trigger: Iran’s army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, with complete distrust of Washington’s unreliable promises, are at the highest level of readiness to respond to any aggression.
