Key points of Mohammad Hossein Bagheri’s remarks, Head of the Iqbal Forum, in an interview with Capital TV Pakistan

Field situation and missile attacks:
Bagheri confirmed that in recent days, Iranian territory has been bombed more than 10,500 times by U.S. and Israeli fighter jets.

He said that explosions are heard every hour across Iran, describing the situation as extremely serious.

In response, Iranian forces have launched large-scale missile strikes toward Tel Aviv, Haifa, and U.S. bases in Arab Gulf countries, reportedly resulting in casualties among American and Israeli soldiers.

Rumors of negotiations during war:
Bagheri called reports of Iran’s willingness to negotiate during the current situation “completely false.”

He stated: “When bombs are falling on us, no Iranian official is talking about negotiations, nor will they.”

He added that Iran’s condition for any talks is a complete halt to the war by the United States and Israel, who he says initiated the conflict.

Leadership succession and the Assembly of Experts:
He explained that the Assembly of Experts consists of 80 Islamic jurists and scholars, who are currently evaluating options for selecting the next leader based on legal procedures.

Bagheri rejected what he described as Israeli media attempts to name specific individuals in order to create division in the leadership selection process.

Details of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei:
Bagheri revealed that the attack on the Leader’s residence took place at 9:30 AM and involved 30 bunker-buster Tomahawk missiles.

He noted that despite being aware of the threat, he refused to take shelter, reportedly saying:
“The people of Iran have no shelters and remain in their homes; I will also stay in mine.”

Public morale and government situation:
Bagheri said that despite military pressure, government services continue to function and the people remain strongly supportive of the state, calling this unity “an example in history.”
