Behind the scenes of the cancellation of Iran–U.S. negotiations in Islamabad!

Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, a political analyst, in an interview with Naya Daur media, explained the reasons behind the deadlock in negotiations between Iran and the United States:

Why didn’t Iran come to the negotiation table?

The negotiating team was supposed to travel to Pakistan, but the U.S. and Israel backed out of the talks. Bagheri says that unless these three conditions are met, there will be no negotiations:

1. Immediate release of the Iranian commercial ship seized by the United States.
2. End to the blockade of Iran’s ports and full reopening of trade routes.
3. Restraining Israel and stopping the bombardment of southern Lebanon.

Bagheri’s remark about Trump:

“The relationship between Trump and the Strait of Hormuz is inverse; whenever Trump opens his mouth (issues threats), Hormuz closes; when he closes his mouth, Hormuz opens!”

What is Iran’s “nuclear bomb”?

Bagheri believes Iran does not need a nuclear warhead. He says: “The Strait of Hormuz is our atomic bomb, and Bab al-Mandab is our hydrogen bomb! The power these two straits have to paralyze the world is greater than any weapon.”

Role of Pakistan’s army:

Out of respect for General Asim Munir, Iran temporarily opened the strait, but Trump ruined everything by spreading misinformation and attributing it to “U.S. pressure.” Pakistan must decide between Iran’s sincerity and Trump’s political games.

India; a fair-weather partner?

Bagheri delivered a blunt assessment of ties with New Delhi: “Iran’s relationship with India is purely transactional and based on trade, but its relationship with Pakistan is emotional and strategic. India does not act unless it benefits.”

Summary:

Either a dignified agreement with the lifting of the blockade, or a full-scale war in the Persian Gulf. Iran is fully prepared for the latter, as its missile, drone, and weapons stockpiles have been replenished.
